What is P2Resin™ and why is this the material of the future for mannequins?
P2Resin™ is a PC (Polycarbonate) material which has been engineered to our specifications.
Since it's discovery in the early 1950's, the last 60 years has seen PC evolve into the many products today that enrich our everyday lives. PC is a super durable thermoplastic with incredibly stable physical properties that when engineered to our unique specifications provides some very outstanding results in the production of mannequins.
For example; it's shatterproof, odorless and durable with incredibly stable physical properties; such as high impact-resistance, tensile strength, bending and compressive strength. It also has a very high resistance to both heat and cold which is an important consideration when shipping across global climates. You can say it's like "plastic steel".
It's recyclable and made with recycled material making it a truly sustainable solution. In addition to clear, it can be made in virtually any color from semi-clear to translucent to totally opaque allowing for a full range of effects for the ultimate in visual creativity.
